1. Who We Are
CoinAssist ("we", "us", or "our") is an AI-powered coin inventory and listing platform operated at coinassist.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: Email address and password (stored via Supabase Auth).
- Coin data: Photos, titles, descriptions, grades, prices, and other inventory details you enter.
- Integration credentials: eBay user tokens and Shopify access tokens you optionally connect in Settings. These are stored encrypted in our database and used solely to list your inventory on your behalf.
- Payment information: We use Stripe for billing. We never store your card number — Stripe handles all payment data under their own PCI-compliant infrastructure.
- Usage data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the CoinAssist service.
- To create and manage eBay and Shopify listings on your behalf when you request it.
- To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
- To send transactional emails (e.g., signup confirmation, billing receipts).
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Integration tokens (eBay, Shopify) are stored in our database and accessible only to you and our backend services acting on your behalf.
5. Third-Party Services
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- eBay — listing automation via their Trading API when you connect your account.
- Shopify — product listing via their Admin API when you connect your store.
- OpenAI — coin identification from photos. Images you upload may be sent to OpenAI for processing. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at support@coinassist.app. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.
7. Cookies
We use cookies only for authentication session management (via Supabase). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice in the app. Continued use of CoinAssist after changes constitutes acceptance.
